Easter Eggs LO
Happy belated Easter, everyone! :)
Even though the four of us are way too old to enjoy dying eggs every Easter-- well, us girls are too old and we make our guys enjoy it.... We do it anyway!
The two large eggs below are from Doodlecharms... and smaller eggs are actually just store bought embellishments that I had in my stash.
The font I used on this Lo is from Simply Sweet (another favorite font of mine!)
I think I've posted about this before, but I wanted to mention it again. The picture below shows a close up of the collage I printed in a 5x7 format. I love the collages because they keep your photos organized and small enough you can pack multiple photos in a LO. The more pictures, the better. :)
Happy crafting!!

Wood Blocks - Easy Gift!!
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a quick and easy gift you can make for someone! I got the idea from Karlee Kraft's YouTube video. Her video shows you how to make this craft step by step.
I really love this craft because it is something that can be used year round- - just change the side that is seen!!! I made this as a gift for my cousin who had just gotten married. I chose to use smaller blocks than Karlee did in her video because my cousin's new last name is pretty long and I thought smaller blocks would fit better on a shelf.
I used wooden blocks from Hobby Lobby, Mod Podge, a sponge brush, and my Cricut Cartridges.

Here are the papers I used for this project. After I took this picutre I added a valentine's day themed paper that you will see in the next few pictures.
All of the letters on these blocks are from the Jasmine Cricut cartridge.

The hearts on this one is from the Simply Sweet cartridge.

The spiders are from the Doodlecharms cartridge.
The leaf is from the Doodlecharms cartridge as well.
And the trees are cut from the Christmas Cheer cartridge.
Thanks so much for looking!

Pumpkin Carving - LO
Hello everyone! Just thought I would share with you a layout I did this evening. I am ALWAYS behind in my scrapbooking - so I'm just getting around to October '09. BUT! Since October is around the corner I thought this LO would be appropriate to post!
Here are more detailed photos, and I will try to explain the type of materials and sizes used.
I decided to go with an 'oldie but a goodie' with the font on this LO. I used George and Basic Shapes. "PUMPKIN" is cut at 1/2" and "CARVING" is at 1".
The spider is my personal fav! He is from Doodlecharms and is cut at 3/4. I cut him out on black out and just used a white gel pen for his eyes.
The spider web punch is a Martha Stewart punch. I had to do some research on how to use the punch-around-the-page MS punches. I didnt realize you had to use specific sizes... but now I do! I plan on adding a post that will explain how to use the MS punches and the sizes required for them. I will give you a link on this post when I do.
This black card stock is cut and punched with the spider web at 6 3/4 x 5. My purple journaling box is 3 1/2 x 5 1/2.
The tree and fence were put together in Design Studio. They are both from Paper Doll Dress Up. You can use my .cut file if you'd like; I have it on the top left hand side of my blog for easy access. You may also access it here.

Happy crafting!
