I'm hooked on Glimmer Mist!

I ran across a YouTube video the other day that did a make-shift Tim Holtz Grunge flower. I had a bottle of Glimmer Mist so I went for it. I am AMAZED at the results!!

Now keep in mind I don't have the best camera, and it looks a zillion times better in person, but here is what I did.

I took a plain yellow piece of cardstock, cut three 2.5" flowers from my Accent Essential cricut cartridge and stamped them with a brown ink pad. I sprayed the flower and blotted, and repeated. Then as the video said to do, I coated the back lightly with Mod Podge because when you roll the flowers it needs to be sturdier.
I followed the directions on the video and TA-DA!!!! I am in awe that a plain piece of yellow cardstock looks so vintage and detailed. I love it!!

My next project I will reveal shortly, but I short I had some simple scalloped frames that I covered with plain pink paper, but I sprayed and blotted them with my pink Glimmer Mist and I made them sweet and shiny!!
I will post more pics of that project as soon I decide what going inside the frames. =)

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy crafting!
