Here is a simple LO for my 25th birthday.
I don't know the name of this paper -- but I love this! When I was at GASC I saw a lot of booths with this paper line. Super cute!
With my Gypsy I made the balloon and banner. The "25" and "Happy Birthday" are all from Don Juan... the balloon itself is from Create a Critter and the flags for the banner from Straight From the Nest.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!!

GASC LO
Oh what fun! This was my first trip to the Great American Scrapbook Convention - and I LLLOOOOVVVVEEEDDD it! We had a blast!
Something I like about this LO - to spell out the GASC acronym (that is the Don Juan font) - I used my sharpie markers, Simply Sweet, and my Gypsy to write out the "Great American Scrapbook Convention". Love the way it turned out!
Instead of putting the cover to the program of the convention, I just cut out the key points and adhered them to my LO.
Here is a picture of the picture collage I did. Love using these collages! :)

Mudbowl LO
Every year our youth group at church celebrates the beginning of summer by having a mudbowl. I avoided the mess this year and glady accepted the photographer role. :)
The font is from Don Juan, the brackets are from Plantin Schoolbook, and my favorite is the mud blobs and they are from Everyday Paper Dolls.
I made the font and mud blobs glossy. I used Versamark, clear embossing powder and heat dried it.
Thanks for looking!! Happy crafting!!!

3 Year Anniversary LO
I am so excited to share this LO! The is a double page LO, and on the left side of the LO is from my hubby!! He made this for me! On our 3 year anniversary I came home from work and had a present (with my Create a Critter cartridge in it!) and a scrapbook page that my hubby had made. It has the first picture we had ever taken together... we were so young then! :) He told me I had too many tools and was a bit intimidated in my craft room.... but he did a great job still!
I made the right side of the page and tried to have it flow as well as possible.
The arrow below is from Graphically Speaking. It has three circle in it as it is, I used my Gypsy and the hide contour feature to hide the circles and replaced them with hearts.
"3 year" is from Mini Monograms and "anniversary" is from Sweethearts. The cut from Sweethearts actually says "Happy Anniversary" originally... but I used the hide contour feature to hide the "happy" and just use "anniversary". I love the hide contour feature!
The heart border I made using my Gypsy using George and Basic Shapes. I welded the hearts together. I re-cut the skinny hearts in brown and pop-dotted them to the border to give it a pop of color and dimension. I'm really happy with the way this LO turned out!
Thanks for checking this out!

Baptism LO
I love the way this LO turned out. It is really fun and captures the great memories from my Godson being baptized.
His outfit he is in is a family tradition... the outfit is guessed to be over 100 years old. Little man only wore it while he was on stage.... :)
I had the privilege of being named his Godmother... so happy!
The titles on this LO are from Calligraphy and were given a gloss by stamping them in Versamark, covered with clear embossing powder, and heat dried. I love how it gave it a clear shine and didn't have to dry like glossy accents would have to.
The dove, bible, and cross embellishments were store bought from Hobby Lobby.

24th Birthday
Happy Birthday, hubby!
Here is a simple LO I made for my DH's b-day...
The "Happy Birthday" is from Create a Critter and "24" is from Sweet Treats.
Some white faux stitching, buttons and a ribbon added to this LO and made it more personal.
The word "Birthday" and numbers "24" were placed on pop dots to give it more dimension .
Thanks again for looking!

Mother's Day 2010 LO
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! I pretty much have the best mom and grandma in the world. So I made a LO just for them.
*I do have to add... that I also have the best mother-in-law in the world, but this year she was recovering from a recent chemo treatment and didn't feel up to pictures. Don't worry - I'll make it up next Mother's day!*
This LO was actually started at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in a class. I loved the new technique of flowers they we learned. The bottom layer of the flowers is actually a light-weight fabric that distressed easily. Love it!

4 Month LO
Here is simple LO I have done to show my Godson at 4 months.... he's pretty much adorable!
I had a hard time coming up with a theme for this LO... but his shirt was too cute to not play on. I pretty much love the crabs flag ... "Too happy to be crabby!" He's a happy baby so this really fit.
The font is from Mickey Mouse Font, the crabs are from Create a Critter, and the flag is from Paper Doll Dress Up, and the scallops are from Plantin Schoolbook.

Easter Eggs LO
Happy belated Easter, everyone! :)
Even though the four of us are way too old to enjoy dying eggs every Easter-- well, us girls are too old and we make our guys enjoy it.... We do it anyway!
The two large eggs below are from Doodlecharms... and smaller eggs are actually just store bought embellishments that I had in my stash.
The font I used on this Lo is from Simply Sweet (another favorite font of mine!)
I think I've posted about this before, but I wanted to mention it again. The picture below shows a close up of the collage I printed in a 5x7 format. I love the collages because they keep your photos organized and small enough you can pack multiple photos in a LO. The more pictures, the better. :)

Valentines 2010
I guess I'm a little late for posting Valentines Day stuff... or I'm really early for next year... either way.... ;)
I must say I totally scraplifted this LO from Scrapbook.com - I just can't find the original post to give the author credit. If I find her post again, I will update this ASAP.
For the border of this page I used the Martha Stewart Valentines border punch... love the pink on black!
I also did a paper rosette.. this time I scored it 1/8 increments.. I was a bit grumpy afterward because it was pretty tedious.... I've still got to play with the rosettes to find a way to to them thin enough for scrapbooks....
The font for this LO is from Lyrical Letters - using the Loop Dee Loo feature... one of my all time favorite fonts!
A few simple silver heart brads just added to the page.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Husband Caught Crafting!
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me... to SEE my hubby in my craft room. He has been known to create something to surprise me.. but this was a first for me.
He had to create a valentines box for a competition at his work. So he created..... an outhouse. Haha!!
"Caught" is from Lyrical Letters & "in the act" is also from Lyrical Letters using the Jumbo feature.
My embellishment pieces for this LO is all from Locker Talk. One thing I did this time that was different for me was using the Cricut Markers to highlight the embellishments.
The blue dots from on the paper wouldn't really have shown up with just the blade from my cricut, so I used my Gypsy to cut the paper out, and replaced the blade with a light blue cricut marker. I used my Gypsy and the hide contours feature to hide the outline of the paper and when I hit "cut" it only "colored" the lines on the paper.
I repeated the same steps on the glue bottle and ruler. I used a thin mini sharpie marker instead of a cricut marker this time.
Well this was a simple LO today, but if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Baby Shower LO
Hello crafters! I am playing catch-up with a few of my scrapbook layouts so I thought I'd share them with you.
This LO is from a baby couple of baby showers I help host - I just combined them into a double page LO.
I'm always leaning on the side of putting as many pictures on a LO as I can. Because I realize as my grandkids go through my books someday... they aren't going to worry about how I decorated the pages, but rather the pictures and how well I explained who was there and what we did that was memorable.
The mommy and umbrella shown below is from New Arrival.
The title "Showered With Love" was from the Hello Kitty Font cartridge, and the flourishes are from the Straight From the Nest cartridge.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Musical Scrapbook Pages
So I'm lucky enough to see some GREAT musical shows in my area. Since I keep the memorabilia from the shows - I'm always needing a way to make it all fit in a 12x12 LO.
Below I show a close-up of how I get the memorabilia to fit. For the Wizard of Oz LO I scanned the program and shrunk it down and printed it. I used the original ticket, but I could have easily shrunk it down if I needed to.
The high heel came from Gypsy Wanderings cartridge, flipped.
This LO is from my favorite show this far... Legally Blonde. It was a blast!!
Below I show that I have again shrunk the program to the show so it would fit well in my page.
This was my first time to use paper rosettes.. I love them. So I used three. :)
This was my first time with the rosettes so I need to play around with the still because they are a little bulky for a scrapbook... but I hope to play around with the rosette I use for my next LO.
Thanks for looking!
